“ Pot pie was great. Pork chop has onions in with the apples which made it gross. Potatoes, gravy, corn all top notch. Would go back just not order the pork chop. Also it's cold. Wear a jacket ”

“ The food. Let me just tell you about this FOOD. So, so yummy! We came in because we were stopping at the winery on the property (not recommended, actually a horrible experience) So we left there to go here. Our server was absolutely fantastic. Wish I’d have gotten her name. She was super patient with one of our girlfriends who is gluten intolerant, and all of her questions. (They have a gluten free menu btw, she was in heaven actually getting to eat good food for a change). Anywho: When you sit down, they bring everyone a little drink. Apple julep I think they said? Really yum and refreshing. And a basket of apple fritters. I had fried catfish, mashed taters, and collard greens. Comes with soup too, I had loaded baked potato soup. Indescribably yummy!! Breading on the catfish was perfect. Not too heavy and not too light. Dude they got their stuff all the way figured out. Everyone else loved what they ordered as well. Only wish we’d have been able to get our leftovers for takeout, but we had a 4 hour drive home and leftover fish probably would not have fared well, ha. Anyway, if you’re in the area and hungry for some excellent food, GO!!! ”

“ If i could give 10 stars I would. Absolutely delicious, home cooked food. This is some of the best food I've ever tasted dining out. They bring out delicious apple fritters sprinkled with powdered sugar and the best apple butter to dip them in I've tasted and a orange juice shot to wash them down. Our blackened chicken Alfredo and chicken pot pie was out of this world good. They do a wonderful job of cooking and give huge portions. We were happy to have some to take home. We Absolutely will be visiting here again! Was also one of my grandpas favoriteplaces to eat in TN. ”

“ Stopped in for a late afternoon lunch with the wife during the week after running a few errands and such. It was not busy at all and we had plenty of time to just sit and enjoy ourselves. Our server, Jeremy, was awesome. He had time to keep us entertained, check on us and keep our coffee cups full. If you can, I would recommend asking for a table with him. The vegetable soup is good and it has just a slight pepper taste. The food is very good. It may be a little higher than fast food but we also got a Military discount for being veterans. The Grill menu is pretty much the same as the restaurant except the Grill has a few less choices such as pot roast, chicken livers, etc. and a dessert is not included in the meal. They are correct in saying that the banana pudding is worth getting to take home. It is rich, creamy, fluffy, and light. Miss Polly does a good job. ”
